Just an update of CIEDA projects in Pori, Hela Province, Papua New Guinea.
The people of Pori were pleased to have New Hope International Representative David Fergusion and North construction guys Ryan and Michael visited Pori and Yegeli Child care centre from 4th August and returned on the 8th of August,2010. Yegeli Child care centre is one of the CIEDA pilot projects in Pori area. The team visited Mandalo work mission centre, Pori Library and Pori airstrip project sites. From December to January 2010 to 2011 the teen mission from Australia and New Zealand Plan to visit Pori airstrip project to work with the community during summer Holiday.
The need of Yegeli Child care is water tanks for the Children and learning materials. Teen missions need would be tanks to collect rain water as the water around the area is muddy and dirty. Mandalo work mission area also need a water tank and the Pori Missionary guest House also need a water tank.
Christian friends who have heart for these community please pray for us. Tuffa tanks in Tari cost a very high price. A tuffa tank of 6000 litres cost K7000:00 and 9000 litres cost K8-K9000: 00

The preparations for the official launch of the CIEDA organisation in April are in full swing. The community of Pori are working on the airstrip using local hand tools and need wheel barrows for moving the earth.
